F.A.Q

  • How can I exhibit at GBTH?
We’re currently fully booked for the remainder of 2023. If you’re interested in doing an exhibition with us in the future, please join our group in-world to stay up-to-date with our open calls.

  • Is GBTH an official Second Life™ art program?
No, we’re not. We’re part of the Community Gateway Program, but have no relation to the Second Life Endowment for the Arts (SLEA).

  • Who is behind it?
Marina Münter and an awesome team of collaborators that step in for specific cases.

  • Do you have rentals?
No, we don’t. It is not something we’re willing to offer because it never made sense for our proposal and it is also not allowed on the CG guidelines.

  • How much does it cost to exhibit at GBTH?
We don’t charge the artists to exhibit with us, ever. The only costs they’ll have are related to the materials they require to put together their exhibition (uploads, objects used on the actual work, etc).

  • What does GBTH stand for?
GBTH stands for Grab By The Horns, a more open for interpretation version of “grab the bull by the horns”.

  • Why Second Life™?
Because it is free to join, accessible to a certain extent (takes a bit of time to get used to it) and, compared to other virtual worlds, it is the most complete to develop art exhibitions in!

  • How can I support the GBTH?
You can follow us on social media, invite your friends to come over, offer to volunteer and become a patron on Patreon!
